My StoryI have had the utmost privilege of being mentored by Cyril Nichols of Squirrel Signs here in Pendeen, Cornwall. I knocked on his door one day asking about traditional signwriting and he welcomed me in and started teaching me that day. I visited every week for months whilst he assigned exercises to me and taught me the tricks of the trade. Cyril has been a signwriter for close to 50 years and as he draws near to retirement he has asked me to fill his space. I have big boots to fill!
